Coffee with nonfat milk adds about 9 calories per 2 tablespoons.

Coffee with whole milk adds about 16 calories per 2 tablespoons.

Where does coffee come from?

Coffee is one of the biggest global commodities, 2nd only to oil.  It is also the third most consumed beverage around the world behind water and tea.  Please drink around half a trillion cups of coffee every year.

The top five coffee producing countries are Brazil, Vietnam, Columbia, Indonesia and Ethiopia.

There are 2 main types of coffee beans, Arabica and Robusta. 

Arabica make up 70% of coffee around the world.  It requires a higher altitude to grow and provides a softer, sweeter taste.

Robusta is easier and cheaper to grow and accounts for 30% of coffee worldwide.

How long does ground coffee last?

Coffee does not spoil, it goes stale over time.  Store your coffee in an airtight container in a cool, dark and dry place.

Caffeine difference between coffee and tea-Caffeine in coffee gets in your blood within minutes and gives a surge of energy.  Caffeine in tea acts slower and gives a gentler energy boost.  Not all coffees and teas are the same but generally, coffee contains between 96 and 165 mg of caffeine and tea is generally between 25 and 50 mg of caffeine.
